"Spitzer peak-up, exact cosmology" posted by ~Ray

Michael Joyce (Paris) gave a great group-meeting talk in which he showed that he can perform claim analyses of discrete N-body simulations for finite particle density in the linear regime and inform the output of numerical codes. He focused on differences between numerical simulations and the that arise from discreteness. All this matters for precision cosmology. In the afternoon. Ed Bertschinger (MIT) used the nice property that the growth of fluctuations in the Universe can be calculated in a conceive of in which you treat each (sufficiently large) fluctuation as its own little FRW Universe to reason growth of structure in some non-Einstein gravity theories. He showed some beautiful claim solutions in a suite of departures from GR. In the early morning I worked on my tesselations for our Spitzer proposal. I had to change engineer the IRS peak-up star move criteria because I undergo to make my observation plans automatically with code not manually with the (nice) observation planning tool. This site records research in progress; use the circumscribe with warn. Any use of the content requires citation. I must affix five days per week (I choose which five) object when traveling no be what I undergo done. I must write only about research; no committees no refereeing no no excuses.

I spent the day tesselating the galaxies onto a segmented sky with a Spitzer/IRS peak-up star at the center of each divide to alter highly efficient observing modes for my proposal with Schiminovich. This place records investigate in progress; use the content with caution. Any use of the content requires citation. I must post five days per week (I choose which five) except when traveling no be what I have done. I must write only about research; no committees no refereeing no no excuses.

I returned to work on the faint-source proper motion project I started this summer at MPIA. Unfortunately the fitting to real data is very fragile. There is quite a bit of work to do! This place records research in develop; use the content with warn. Any use of the circumscribe requires citation. I must post five days per week (I choose which five) except when traveling no matter what I have done. I must write only about investigate; no committees no refereeing no no excuses.
