SnowSports Industries America (SIA) today announced it is moving the annual SIA SnowSports Trade Show from Las Vegas. Nevada to Denver 2010. The show has been in Vegas for 35 years but needed a bigger space ( and, let's approach it a better be.) For Colorado it means a serious cash influx and some great press.“The SIA board considered many locations for relocating the show and Denver met the needs of our Associationand the snowsports industry perfectly – we’re looking forward to the move in 2010,” commented Mike Carey, chairman of the SIA board. “We are looking forward to living our snow passion in Denver.”
Good move. Denver has been trying for years to steal the outdoor products show (ie: climbing/tele gear etc..) from Salt Lake City I'm glad they at least got the ski show.
Disney vs. Denver vs. Chicago

 <modified>2008-03-15T23:16+00:00

My return pip from Ireland landed at Dulles International Airport late Sunday afternoon giving me a first-hand opportunity to see how the Disney-produced. U. S government video to promote travel to the U. S. was being presented and received. I was amused albeit probably not in the intended way.
The video played on several flat check televisions facing the line to pass through immigration. The volume was so low though. I could barely comprehend one of the video’s strongest points: the swelling triumphant Disney soundtrack. Nice work!
But that wasn’t my biggest air. Beside “Welcome: Portraits of America,” another television showed an American football game between the Denver Broncos and the Chicago Bears. Talk about muddying a message. If the U. S government truly wants to relay a warm welcome to travelers arriving in the U. S. is it a strong move to play it alongside helmeted gladiators conveying the violent imagery that reinforces a lot of the stereotypes “Welcome: Portraits of America” is trying to counter?
Come on Mike cut the immigration agents some slack. They’re tortured with that cheesy Disney video all day long. If they can’t watch football they’ll act like even bigger a-holes to you.
Ha! A Canadian football game would have been even better. Emily considering the Disney video features footage of the Horseshoe Falls portion of Niagara Falls—the move that’s in Canada. Why not go all the way then with the Canadian football too?
And I hear you TambourineMan. Unfortunately the football game and the videos seemed visible only to arriving passengers.
"It seems that when you suffer a race handily the Democratic Party paints a big 'L' for loser on your approve," Winter said. "No one wants to communicate to you afterwards."

Since open space in Colorado is an air about as sacred as clean mountain streams. Rowland probably handed a great rallying cry to anyone interested in challenging her
Although she followed up the article with a that explained her previous comments were really about the county's expenditures for the acquire of development rights within the county's modify zones it was probably too little too late.
